A Big Boom in the morning

Boom! mother went in our room in panic asking what was that?Minutes before she did told us what happened around 1am to our neighborhood, they were been several gunshots fired in one of the resident and some armed men in bonnet were seen hovering in the area. Hours before the big boom I've read a post in the FB saying she heard a 6 gunshots, i thought it was somewhere farther here so i just didn't mind. As mother in fright, father went in his motorcycle rushed to the scene to find out what happened. As he came in there were already the policemen in control of the area. Neighbors said that men in bonnet threw a grenade before they strafe the house, fortunately the family inside laid after they heard it, good to hear they were all safe. Speculations that it was  some kind of political foes. It could happen to anyone anytime. The best thing to do is always be vigilant, be aware with one another, were neighbor in the first place that the closest thing we have around.
